Creative Flow

Explore creativity in nature inspired by the elements. Using meditative practices, allow your intuition to guide you through, line, shapes and colors as you create beautiful representations to capture the beauty of the present moment. We honor our sacred earth by using sustainable natural pigments. No experience necessary!

Yoga & Meditation

You are invited to slow your body and your mind. Taking cues from nature, tap into the inner wisdom of your body, mind and spirit so you can hear the whispers of the soul. Breath, movement and meditation practices are designed with the intention for increased well-being of mind, body and souls for beginner and seasoned practitioners.

Shamanic Ceremony

Nourished by the abundant waters, the grounding rocks, the dense jungle and the glowing sun, you will tune into your true nature and deepen your spiritual connection with creation and yourself. Through ceremony, we will work energetically with the Earth and all of to release obstacles and bring your vision of bliss to fruition for transformation..

Experience Earth's Sacred Bliss

Awaken your sense of wonder and build connection with nature. While exploring you may find yourself: Standing in the heart of Costa Rica's oldest tree, floating in a tide pool while listening to waves crash around you, relaxing in the garden with hummingbirds dancing around you, exploring three levels of a waterfall while butterflies guide your way through the rainforest, covering yourself in clay and washing it off in fresh water that flows into the ocean, lying on a beach of small, colorful pebbles that hug your body, sitting in a river and allowing the fresh water to revive you before it spills into the ocean.

Each day you will be guided through practices and experiences exploring the elements of nature to build connections with your mind, body, soul, and nature in a supportive container.
There is plenty of time daily to relax or explore.
The options are endless – it's all about creating the experience that speaks to your soul.

Your Sacred Bliss Blueprint

Day 1: Step into the Sacred

This is where the transformation begins! You will step onto the magical grounds of your home away from home with its lush garden and expansive ocean view. While relaxing in a hammock, sip a refreshing pipa fría (coconut water) and settle into the pura vida. In the evening, we will gather to share our vision and intentions for this journey. We will enjoy dinner together and have our opening ceremony aligned with the energy of the new moon. This is where you leave the world behind and step into the sacred for your own transformation.

Day 2: Root To Rise

Get rooted! Ground into this beautiful location to feel supported and rooted as you focus your intention and get your hands on the earth as you create with wild clay.

Day 3: Freedom to Flow

Dive into the water element! Play and connect with the sea on the full day private boat tour. Snorkel and visit Tortuga Island, swim at remote beaches, and explore the mangroves. (Lunch and drinks provided.)

Day 4: Ignite Your Bliss

Connecting to the fire element and that divine spark within. What fuels your fire?

Day 5: Spread Your Wings

Are you ready to take flight? Tap into the element of air to find lightness in your being to rise above obstacles.

Day 6: Celebration of Gratitude & Intention

Our last day together, you will integrate the transformation and experiences from the week. We will put the final touches on our art projects, and you will have space to relax or explore. We will gather for our garden dinner party and closing ceremony journey sharing our community art project so that we all take a piece of each other & costa rica home. We will In our closing despacho ceremony, we weave our gratitude, intentions, & prayers together in an offering to pachamama to create ayni, or sacred reciprocity.

Your arms and hearts will be full of soulful souvenirs and your own creations as you return home.

Your home away from home

This intimate oasis in paradise is nestled between the Montezuma River, the jungle, and the Pacific Ocean close to the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. The energy is special here, and it's the perfect place to hold space for us on this soul journey. We have it all to ourselves so there is plenty of room to relax and play on the lush ocean-front grounds or take a dip in the tide pool.

The Blue Zone Cuisine and way of life is a huge part of the physical and spiritual shift that you can experience with locally sourced food. Breakfast will be provided at our hotel and evening meals will be catered by local restaurants, which will consist of locally sourced food. For lunch you will have the opportunity to explore many of the tasty, fresh food options what the town of Montezuma has to offer.

Travel Info

The Sacred Bliss Retreat begins at 6:00pm on Sunday, July 13 with a welcome gathering, dinner and opening ceremony.

If you plan to arrive in Costa Rica on Sunday, July 13, you need to book a flight that arrives early in the day so you can then travel to Montezuma. Otherwise, plan on arriving the day before (Sunday, July 12).

Check-in: Sunday, July 13 at 2:00pm for rooms & 3:00 p.m. for Casa Sol Villa

(You can arrive as early as you like, as we can store luggage so you can enjoy as much of the place as possible.)

Check-out Saturday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m.

Luggage storage is also available, so you can leave at your convenience.)

Getting to Montezuma

Costa Rica has two international airports. You will fly to either Liberia (LIR) or San Jose (SJO) and then take a domestic flight (recommended) or shuttle.

  • Flight: Take a quick flight from LIR or SJO to Cóbano (ACO) on Sansa or Green Airways. (Cóbano is a quick 15 minutes away from Montezuma).

  • Shuttles: The hotel is happy to assist in arranging private or shared transportation from/to the airport or other locations in Costa Rica and group people together as needed.

Candice & Amanda

Candice Lindsay, MA, Artist, Art Educator

Candice Lindsay is a Dallas-based artist Her wanderlust dramatically influences her work, and images of her travels peek through her paintings. She also experiments with various mediums to create collages and mixed-media artwork using a palette of vibrant colors. Her style is expressionistic to communicate the a sense place.

Candice is an Art Educator and received her Master's in Art Education from the University of Florida. She is an avid contributor to Arts education in the community She also works as an art educator consultant for professional development services to art educators. She has been active with Kettle Art Gallery since 2017.

Amanda Nitschke, M.S. CCC-SLP, RYT200, Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master

As a mom, spiritual mentor, speech-language pathologist, thought leader, best-selling author and public speaker, she weaves together her yogic and shamanic practices with over twenty years of experience treating children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Amanda is passionate about holding space for others as they awaken to their inner power and step into the fullest expression of their being by building connection on the physical, mental and spiritual (energetic) levels.
